Do I have to take precautions before my procedure?

There is nothing special you need to do before whitening, however, the treatment does work best on healthy teeth free of plaque and tartar so we recommend scheduling a dental cleaning beforehand to achieve optimal results. Stains on teeth appear when coloured molecules stick to the plaque, tartar and surface of the tooth. Having a dental clean helps to remove the outer layer of tartar and plaque that may have built up.
