Mikaela has been with Dental Avenue Maroubra since its inception in 2013, following her graduation from Griffith University in Queensland in 2010. She finds fulfillment in general dentistry, particularly orthodontics, and is recognized as a Platinum level provider of Invisalign.
She values building lasting connections with her patients and is known for her compassionate approach, especially in comforting nervous individuals. Mikaela’s expertise covers a wide spectrum of general dental services, including wisdom teeth extractions, root canal treatments, fillings, and cleanings. She holds a special passion for cosmetic dentistry, appreciating its impact on self-esteem through achieving a confident smile.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Mikaela contributes her time to the Australian Dental Health Foundation (ADHF), offering dental care to those in need. She has also been involved with the Sports and Social Committee of the Australian Dental Association (NSW Branch). Outside of work, Mikaela cherishes moments with her family and stays active through running and ocean swimming.
Dental Avenue is a spotless clean, calm and tranquil dental practice. Dr. Edward Chin and his staff are friendly, warm and communicate well. They are open on Saturdays which has been very helpful for me personally. It’s been my best dentist experience so far.

Dental Avenue is the best dental practice I have ever been too. Everything about the experience is amazing, from the lovely front reception plus the nurses and dentists.
Top tip, if you are looking for the most caring, gentle and just all round great human, Dr Edward Chin is an amazing dentist.
Myself and my two children see him and he’s so wonderful with the kids. I also had to have an intense extraction and he was the best.
1000% recommend. Bonus - There is also free parking across the road.
