A bridge is designed to provide a permanent fix to missing teeth, using remaining teeth to support the placement of a new artificial tooth/teeth. Conventionally, a fixed bridge uses crowns fixed to the teeth on either side of a missing tooth. First, false teeth are attached to these crowns, before a bridge is then attached to them. Resin serves to connect the new artificial teeth with the existing teeth to create a permanent solution.
