How long will it take for the sedation to wear off?

The time it takes for the sedative to wear depends on a few elements including the dose you received, how long the treatment was, and how quick your body recovers. Sedation does cause drowsiness and so we strongly recommend having a friend or relative to drive you to and from your appointment. We suggest you do not drive a vehicle, drink alcohol or operate machinery after as it can be very dangerous to you and others.
