Meet the Team



Kellie is our enthusiastic dental assistant. She began working in private practice in 2009 and completed her Dental Assisting certificate III in 2010. Kellie is committed to ensuring the practice delivers a high standard of infection control. Kellie also actively assists in four-handed dental procedures. Kellie is also well trained in using our Cone Beam 3D Imaging technology. She continues to further her skills in the dental industry by attending courses and workshops.

Kellie has a special interest in cosmetic, surgical, and implant procedures. She is also an active participant in our annual National Dental Foundation volunteer program for the underprivileged population.

Kellie has a friendly personality, and along with her caring approach, patients instantly feel at ease.

When Kellie is not working she enjoys going out with friends, meeting new people, and keeping fit. She loves travelling and has already covered three other continents including Asia, America and Europe.



Farah graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Beirut 2010 (BAU) after which she practiced dentistry for a short period before moving to Australia in September 2010. Soon after arriving she started working at Dental Avenue Parramatta as a Clinical Coordinator. Farah has most recently completed her Australian Dental Council accreditation (ADC) in November 2012. She is very pleased to be able to continue working as a Dentist at Dental Avenue Parramatta and Maroubra, where she has received a lot of support and mentoring.

With the philosophy of ‘Total patient care’ in mind Farah is looking forward to working with the team at Dental Avenue to implement new treatment coordinating procedures, incorporating the latest technologies & diagnostic tools available in dentistry.

Away from work Farah enjoys reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.



James graduated from Sydney University with degrees in Bachelors of Pharmacy and a post graduate degree in Dentistry with Honours. James enjoys all aspects of dentistry with a particular interest in conservative dentistry and oral surgery.

James is involved with a teaching program assisting the University of Sydney with training in Anatomy to post graduate students.

Apart from his love for Dentistry and looking after patients; James enjoys travelling and the outdoors.



Graduating from the Griffith University in 2010, Mikaela quickly joined our Dental Avenue team and has been with us ever since.

An accredited provider of Invisalign® (invisible braces), Mikaela is also a member of several professional societies including the Australian Endodontic Society, Australia and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry, and the Australian Dental Association.

Passionate about accessible dental health, Mikaela volunteers her expertise to programs run by the National Dental Foundation to provide dental care to disadvantaged members of the community.

With a keen interest in paediatric dentistry, Mikaela loves working with children and their families to make every dental session rewarding and comfortable.

Believing in the power of a smile and the change it can bring to one’s life and health, Mikaela finds dentistry a rewarding career where she can combine high-level care with outstanding results.

When not in the clinic, Mikaela likes to travel, spend time with her husband and family, and stay fit running, playing soccer and swimming.



Tony graduated a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Sydney University in 1992. For many years he has owned and operated several successful dental practices located in Sydney. Tony is committed to continuing education and training in order to help patient’s achieve the smile and the confidence they deserve. Tony believes in clear and concise communication and in extensive treatment planning. He will provide the time to approach each patient on a personal level, listening to each individual patients needs. This allows him to customise every patient’s Dental Treatment Plan to ensure that all patients are provided with optimal dental treatment to suit their unique needs.
Tony holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), 2003. His unique qualifications lead to his involvement in the corporate aspect of the dental industry as a Consultant. Tony consulted to several international dental organisations. This has provided Tony with an array of experiences that range from the new dental product launch in the Australian market to the tailoring of specific in practice protocols. Tony currently still provides limited consulting services. As such, Tony continues to bring to Dental Avenue the very latest in technologies, products, and services that aim to continually improve both clinical and non-clinical practice protocols.

Tony enjoys sporting activities with his kids including bike riding and tennis.



Kim is our dental hygienist and treatment plan coordinator. Kim joined the Dental Avenue team in mid-2013. She has always been interested dental and has been involved in private practice since 2009 as a dental assistant and receptionist. She completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2009, as well as her Certificate IV in Dental Radiography and Oral Health Education in 2010. Kim has then proceeded to study Bachelor of Oral Health in the University of Newcastle (Ourimbah), where she concluded studies in 2013.

It is of great importance for Kim to help educate patients on how to look after their oral health in the best way possible in a way that suits them.
Outside dentistry, Kim loves movies, fictional books, and spending time with her family.



Dani is our caring dental assistant, who joined our team early 2016. She has over 35 years of experience as a dental nurse and her time in dentistry has seen her involved in staff training and implementation of strict infection control protocols.

Dani thrives in what she does because of her passion in working with people.

Dani is also an active participant of the National Dental Foundation volunteer program, helping the underprivileged community.

Dani has a very warm nature, making patients feel comfortable while they have their dental treatment.

She loves interacting with people and making them feel at ease and happy.

On her free days, she loves going to the beach, gardening, walking her two dogs Versace and Elvis, and socialising with people.



Mary is our front office manager here at Dental Avenue Maroubra. Mary joined the Maroubra team with over 25 years’ experience in practice management and administration.

Over the years Mary has been involved in training and supporting other staff members, assisting new clinicians settle into private practice along with the relocation and set up of existing and new practices.

Having also lived and worked in the local area as a Licensed Real Estate Agent for several years Mary has built up an excellent rapport within the local community, always taking the time to listen and assist them with their questions and concerns.

During her spare time Mary enjoys being outdoors gardening and walking. She also loves cooking for her family and friends.



Mariana graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Venezuela 2015 (ULA), after few months she moved to Sydney, where she is taking studies in business and management. Mariana joined Dental Avenue Maroubra in 2016 as a dental assistant, keeping a high standard of infection control and assisting in four handed dental procedures. She is very pleased to continue working in the dental field.

She has also volunteered to the National Dental Foundation programs, to help members of the community in need.

Mariana enjoys traveling and meeting new people from different cultures. She also likes reading and the outdoors.
